Meet Rachel

YOU are welcome here

Hi there! My name is Rachel, and I am an LPC-A licensed in South Carolina. I am passionate about helping others find healing in the midst of life’s uncertainty and aim to create a space of safety, honesty, curiosity, and encouragement. Whether you are navigating a tough relationship, processing grief, walking through chronic illness, battling anxiety, or working through life’s daily challenges, I am here to support you. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Mindfulness Techniques, IFS, and a Person Centered Approach. I believe that our thoughts and actions are connected and that focusing on one's strengths can be a powerful tool in the healing process. Alongside connecting our thoughts and behaviors, I believe there is immense value in allowing our bodies to feel what they need to feel. Often, we’ve been told to “get over it and move on,” leaving our nervous systems in a state of constant survival. Working to understand and feel those suppressed emotions can be an empowering and beautiful aspect of uncovering and nurturing our own needs.

After walking through my own season of seeking therapy and working through grief and anxiety, I know how intimidating and vulnerable taking this step can be. From my own personal journey, I am more confident than ever that having someone walk alongside you in your human experience is valuable and transformative. I truly look forward to meeting and working with you!
